Anywho, this is my exploration of Reinke Manufacturing, up in south central Nebraska. Its not really that "Urban", as its in the middle of nowhere, so this will be the first "Rural Exploration"! All pictures were taken with a Motorola w385, which I recommend to anyone who wants a sturdy, long ranged phone for a budget price. Upon entering the main building, there was a huge area filled with pipes of various sizes, which had just been rolled from sheet steel. The pipes were just rolled on a machine that is 1/8th of a mile long, induction welded at the seams, and plasma cut to the proper lengths. This room held all the pipes that had been made that day, and it was hot because its well insulated. ![]() Now I'm noticing that the preview button is missing from my add submission page! Oh well, I guess it'll turn out okay... Now here's a cool part of the process I got to see. An overhead crane which spanned the entire room was moving bundles of pipe up onto higher shelves! ![]() Isn't that fucking cool?!? In that room the lights were bright and yellow, but throughout the rest of this gigantic factory the lighting was all white. ![]() Those blue blobs in the bottom of the picture are some of the people I was following around. Don't act like you own the place though, because then the poor saps working there will try and get you to do things, and ask questions... Here are the signs on the paint booth. Its was a big sealed room, basically, for powder coating the aluminum frame trailers (Which Reinke invented) that carry the pipes and sprinkler parts all over the united states. ![]() Later, I almost shat myself, as I saw... A GHOST!!!! ![]() After wiping myself, I went into one little room to discover something awesome... A Fronius Welder! Fronius is currently the only company that has Pulse on Pulse welding technology, which produces better penetration with less heat input on the voltage upstroke when welding a...

It's good to see such passion in people. I just have to say: Quote: All pictures were taken with a Motorola w385, which I recommend to anyone who wants a sturdy, long ranged phone for a budget price....but not if you want to take pictures! lol ![]() Glad you posted it, the photos might be blurry but they're better than no photos! |
![]() Ein Schrei wird zum Himmel fahren, Schneidet sich durch Engelsscharen. "Mein herz brennt, gib mir kraft." Der kalte Mond in voller Pracht hört die Schreie in der Nacht... und kein Engel steigt herab. |
