I know the lady that used to live there, nice lady. but the inside of the house was filled with mold, catpoop and asbestos. It has amazing things that you would only find in a house that old though. All the woodwork is mahongany, the whole place had crown molding nice... It is right across the road, so it is risky getting in there during the day. but maybe ill make a night of it with some friends and go inside. |

Your health is much more valuable than an exploration...Although I know they're fun as hell! Quote: It is right across the road, so it is risky getting in there during the day. but maybe ill make a night of it with some friends and go inside.CockButter and I got into that one cool building (extremely risky) during the day, but it is also isolated. You say across the road -- do you mean from your house? If so, definitely don't go during the day. If not, you can always try doing a back entrance. Just don't damage anything -- turns out "breaking and entering" isn't so severe if it was merely an exploration. I try to romanticize it by saying that "I get my kicks seeing how things used to be, too see how Earth would appear should humans cease to exist, yadda yadda ya". Just don't get caught I guess is the main message. |

Indy Member 'Garburator' Level 45 Posts: 1,939 Submissions: 95 ![]() | Yeah, right across the road from my house. There is a house to the left of it. in clear view. My parents are going to brazil for a week or 2 soon so ill make my move then. I have a mask they use when the seam fill, Im sure that will be adequate. One time when she used to live there, I had to go down to the basement cause the circuit tripped, scary as fuck house. and she didn' tknow what to do. and there is like black spore all over the basement (dirt basement) walls. I don't think anyone would really care, but it makes me wonder if someone is not squatting in there. as it is abandoned (semi, mortage failed) and Some nights I see lights on ( really shouldn't have elcectricty) and some nights it doesn't. I am wondering if the "home alone security" people don't have that to deter people from going in. Who would wanna squat in a death house. |
