ROFL, I was hoping you'd do that. I was thinking it would be good to have something interesting off-center, so it's as if the photographer was going to capture something else, then noticed a UFO, and centered on that. Also, the JPG aberrations around the UFO... Do they look okay, or do I need to work on that? |

Honestly I didn't see it until you pointed it out. You could try smoothing it, and saving it as a png instead. I hate JPEG and GIFs ![]() |

I was actually trying to mimic the aberrations around the helicopter. I put them in on purpose. ![]() |

oh lol, well, either way, it looked authentic to me. Then again, whenever I see UFO shows on the tube, I just turn them off. I don't believe that a bunch of drunk hillbillies with fingerprints on their lenses = extraterrestrial life. |

Well, you can tell it's all crap. Look at UFOs from the 50s and compare them to UFOs from today. They're all based on current sci-fi. Or.. Is it the other way around? ![]() |

I know we have a few scots here, I'm curious about the Lochness monster too... I mean, think about that and UFOs, all it is, is a way to creatively showcase false images. |

Nessie would be fun to do too. I seriously want to try getting an image noted in the news or something. I think that would be so damn funny. Any idea how images get their camera info/settings tags? Can that be added in GIMP/Photoshop? |

Good. Looks like a spur-of-the-moment snapshot. Nice. What program you use? |

Quote: Any idea how images get their camera info/settings tags? Can that be added in GIMP/Photoshop?Well, probably not added to them...But I'm sure there's plenty of EXIF data editors online. I'll have to look around. Obviously it would have to be recent looking, not too distorted, and at the camera's native resolution. |

Thanks DS but it is full of errors. A nice crisp and shiny UFO on a blurry photo, the street is at the wrong angle, the sun is in the wrong place and there's no reflection in the building on the left. Anyone got a good quality photo they want a UFO placed onto? I need to know exactly where in the world it is, preferably a google map or google earth reference. Taking images from google street view has proved to be less than adequate. I'd like to extend this challenge to include the best UFO insertion into only one photo - if there be any takers. But I'm still looking for a suitable image. |

I was going to say it doesn't fit but I'm just not that critical,The orb and the concept work for me so... Oh and I will use the same picture if you want. I'm gonna give it a bash in a couple of pictures first though. |

I like this, but I think I have a better idea. We have to do some searching, or we may have to take the photos ourselves.... 2 images. One out of focus (blurry, maybe motion blur from an unsteady hand), as an initial snapshot might be, and one focused. This creates a real-world scenario. If someone were to see something they can't id, initially, they may not take the best pic. But after the first shot, the image should be better. We place the UFO in both images, and see whose is more believable. |
