| DarkestAngel Removed Account | All of the derailment fun did nearly get thrown out the window. This is an idea I threw at BA. BA believes, and I can't say I disagree, that part of the reason we have a gazillion guests and no new members is the mass chaos in the forums. I, like the rest of you, would like to try and fix this problem. Especially since I have a clue just how many hours BA has put into this site, and it's stalled. So, we have to buckle down and give this is a try. These forums are for the normal goofin around off topic conversations. The other forums must stay on topic. I realize there's going to be slip ups at first, and I hope BA does as well. But we have to make the effort to get them to stay on topic within a reasonable time frame, or we lose the site. There are those of you that like to push buttons, and I know which ones are going to try it. I caution you, do not push my buttons or BA's buttons, or he will pull the plug, plain and simple. I'll overlook the occasional slip in forums from people I see making an honest effort. I'm not perfect, I'll make my own slips. But I can tell the dif between honest effort and pushing your luck and NOT making an effort. I will issue bans if need be. Member or Mod, it doesn't matter. |
