Made a simple change to the BBCode system to annoy people who don't sign up: - Links show up only as text, without the actual hyperlink (and hide the destination). - Images are shrunk down to a idiotic 20x20 pixels. This is easy to overcome, but doesn't mean it's not a pain in the ass. Hopefully this will encourage lurkers to become members. |

^Perhaps, we'll see. Point Transfer is now available Visit your My Account page to donate points to a member. Select who to donate to, the amount, and hit "Send Points". You can only donate between 5 and 99,999 points per transaction. Please note, it is pretty well locked down, so trying to donate -500 points will be a waste of time, and putting a donation link in your signature as an image will too. Just a rock hard heads up. |

Updated forum code slightly: - When your post falls on to a new page, you will automatically be redirected to the new page. - RSS, Recent Activity log, and "Just Now:" all updated to redirect to the specific post and page, instead of just the topic. - When you reply, you will also be taken to your post, not just the top of the page. The reply box will also be hidden (as it would cause confusion otherwise), and a Reply Added notice put in the reply box's place. |

^You're right. The changelog and RSS will take 24 hours to reflect the changes, and the links are added each time an event happens. So all the ones before that update will take you to the old Recent/RSS links. The ones in the HawtChick thread were me testing, and MR2Junkie replying "testes", and I removed those posts after I was done making sure the redirection was done. I'll remove those from the activity log (even though, numberwise, it can use the help today ) |

Oh, I think I get it, is it only replies made since you changed this that will link to the exact post? If that's the case, it seems to be working. The reply thing works well too, and as an added bonus it will severley hinder and and act as a detterent for double posting. (Hasn't stopped me though, lol  )EDIT: Damnit, I was too slow! lol. That's cool dude. I wouldn't bother removing them from the activity log, they'll be gone sone enough anyway. I know, it's been quite slow for a change- I actually got a fair bit of work done in work today as I had nothing better to do! lmao |

hahaha Yea, that's exactly how it works, so tomorrow by this time, and going forwards, all the links will be accurate. As for double posting, there's several provisions in place to prevent that: - 15 second delay between posts - Verification in post database that the current post does not match your previous post. - Form Tokens (which means that any time you load a page, the most posts you can make with it is one, so for those that remember spamming RE by typing a letter and clicking post quickly will possibly not like YN). (Yes, I did that too). As for removing them from the log, admins have finer control over some things on the site, they can just click a delete icon by the activity entry and it's gone...So it only took a second. I'm sure it will speed up later on tonight. |

- Improved granularity with timing (4 minutes ago, etc) - Features page no longer allows ratings on finished features, marks them as DONE, and gives them a slightly different background color. Should avoid confusion going forward. - Fixed Bug (1264711519) Forum Reply. - Removed non-functional "Buy Now" from the auction. - Your replies will now have an orange bar in the forums and comments elsewhere. Note: You will probably need to press F5 to see some of the changes around the site. |

Eh, I don't really think it would be crowded, but it's obviously up to you. I just think it's weird that the number of points a member had is printed so small in their profile and nowhere else that I know of. |
