Just a heads up for the future, I plan on making changes to the interest system, taking things such as ratings and possibly consecutive visits into play -- most active members should see an increase... However, infrequent posting/actions (i.e. visiting for interest) will drain from the gains. |

Moderator System Changes Self Banning and Unbanning Members with ban privileges can no longer apply or remove bans from their own account. If a member gets a ban that should not have occurred, they will have to discuss it with another member with ban powers, except as noted below. Rank Banning Members with ban privileges cannot ban others in higher groups. For example, Site Moderators cannot ban Site Admins or SysOps, and Site Admins can ban SysOps. This will prevent "clash of the titans" on the site. |

The two go hand in hand. If, for example, you banned DLB as a joke, he can't unban himself. Both of these provisions are to refine the ban/mod system. I always look for exploits on the site, and try to resolve them as soon as possible. This facet is similar to blocking duplicated posts and introducing time limits for posts. |
