 Coopz Member 'Penis Size: Massive' Level 35 Posts: 2,398 Submissions: 113  | Ok, first off I have to say, roflmfaocopterzomg!! I'm loving the new colour scheme BA!   Right, on to business. Brilliant news, my new computer arrived today! Wo0t! (It is a million times better than my laptop, it's much much quicker, and it actually plays videos properly!!) And a little bonus surprise, It was allready loaded with Vista! Now, I know "vista sucks" but the main reason I was pleased was because it meant I could start using it straight away! They had even installed my drivers and stuff, and set my accoubt up with my name. I was also rather surprised as the computer was advertised as "NO operating system, Add £69 if you want vista." I planned on installing XP and probably Windows 7 and possibly Ubuntu and Vista wasn't given a second thought, but since it's allready on my computer I have decided I might as well keep it.Thing is after a little bit of use it asked me to activate and told me that I need to enter a different key before I can do so. I guess they just installed a 1 month trial type thing, so I've been trying to find a a serial for it, but I'm not having much luck. Anyone know of where I might find a working serial or a keygen? |

Either look for an Activation Crack for Vista on Google, or unplug your network cable and try validating it with the phone service. (Actually call them and go through the process, claiming that you just bought the system and the company didn't activate it yet). |

It managed to change my bootscreen without asking me or telling me though, grr. I'll try some other activator cracks and if I can get it to work I'll see about changing the bootscreen back. |

I decided to leave it for a bit and just get myself set up with installing the essentials (flash, java, divx plugin, windows updates) and setting my resolution and stuff. Then I went to watch a youtube video and - No sound! A good few hours later, after doing a lot of research and downloading new and old drivers (realtek, ATI, and motherboard) and trying every possible combination of settings in every possible place, and 2 system restores, I finally got the sound to work. Then I started setting things up again, but I restarted after every little thing I did, and then tested the sound. Then I changed the resolution to the one I had originally decided on, and whaddya know? No sound! I switched back to a different resolution, and the sound came back! So thank god for that, but what a fucking waste of time! I dont get why it wont play sound at that resolution (1360x768) but after everything I've allready tried I really don't have much hope of fixing it. The resolution I'm on now (1280x960) isn't bad, but it did display better at the other resolution. Strangely, after my system restores the boot screen is now different, but it's still not the standard one! It looks more standard though so I don't mind.
