I'm sure most of you havent heard of it but it was a MASSIVE gangland war between multiple factions and ended with over 34 people dead. My interest in this topic was due to a book that was made on it which my mum bought me... Great Book.

For those who may be interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melbourne_gangland_killings

It was such a big deal that they even made a TV series on it.

Is that the "Gangland" series?

I don't think it's right for them to be glamorizing organized crime, but considering that most movies are based off of that, I guess that show probably won't hurt to add to the line up.

I try to distance myself from that organized crime shit. True story; my father was asked to join the mob (italian) back when he was a teenager. Needless to say, we don't talk to the family members that are involved in organized crime. Especially the crooked cop (second cousin) that was on the mobs payroll.

Now that I've derailed this post, allow me to re-rail....

I'll check out the link that you posted. I honestly didn't know anything of it until you had mentioned it.

"Ah that's one thing about our Harry, doesn't play any favorites! Harry hates everybody: Limeys, Micks, Hebes, Fat Dagos, Niggers, Honkies, Chinks, you name it."

Yeah I didnt think you guys would.

But BA, as for 'glamorising' the TV show isnt really doing that, basicly they follow the story of how it finishes.

Everyone dies.
