We need to get ways to gather more activity. The main (obvious) way would to just put links up on other sites you visit and hope people come to check it out and stay. The problem with that is that its obvious people already visit this site that aren't members. You can tell this by looking at the linked in submissions. We need to find a way to make this site more appealing to those pictures. Get started with ideas. Edit: I got one, since it seems that the submissions are being viewed mostly, maybe have a javascript alert or something that pops up telling them to check out the forums, or to register and submit their own images. Only have this happen if they are not logged in, and if its possible only once per site visit, so it doesn't become annoying. |

Nah, I hate experts exchange and have adblocked their site. Anyway, I hear you on the activity. Hopefully we can get some more people here, I know a few more people should be joining soon. Darkharbinger is also pretty close to the band saw. If I don't hear anything from the first three members by April 30, the post, point, and submission count will be nullified so that other members may occupy their spot on the site stats. They may contact me with the contact link in the footer. Now that we weeded out the crabasses, the word filters will be removed. |
