 ecko Member 'MMA Expert' Level 27 Posts: 1,782 Submissions: 66  | Today I was walking home from a friends house at like 1:15, and exactly one block after leaving his house a cop shines his light on me. Since I'm underage I will get a curfew ticket. I hear "Austin, where you headed?" I tell him I'm just walking home and he says "Hop in I'll give you a ride." I had no clue how he knew my name until I got in the car and it was my middle school officer who I always hated and always tried to backtalk to him (I was in my young 13 year old rebellious stage.) He was cool as hell though. Cops have gotten very strict here recently with curfew, and he just asked if I smoked anything because my pupils were huge. At first I thought it was just a little cop trick they say to see if I'll admit it, but I got home and my pupils actually really were gigantic! Anyways he just drops me off and tells me to have a good night. He was really nice to me and just a cool guy. It's funny cause this is the 4th time he has stopped me for curfew and told me since I wasn't causing trouble he isn't going to ticket me. (A curfew ticket here is $75 the first one, and then it goes to $150 then $175-200 I think) So I'm lucky and glad. |

It's great when cops are nice like that. I've been very fortunate like that when it comes to run-ins with the police.  ANd it's been for much more serious stuff that I should have had the book thrown at me for. |

For example, mine is one of the worst in my state, it's 10:30... but in the big cities like Minneapolis and St. Paul it is 11:30 on weekdays and 1:00 on weekends I think? I'm not quite sure. It's real bullshit though. |

We started booking, got cross the county line, but the cop came over too and stopped right in front of me. My cousin was in a bush a ways back...So I told him that we were at Whiteys, and he asked our age. I told him 17, and he said "Why were you running", Being the hardened criminal I am, I told him "We were racing back home, you know, burn off those calories" (Only us ruthless killa's can think like that) He says: "Get Home" Yay. |
