Much better.

I hate to say it but being brutally honest, it feels a little sterile. I think it's just the grey, it reminds me of windows 95 or something.

I like the photography page, some pretty impressive stuff there! Has that always been there and I've just missed it, or is it new? And are those your own photographs? Dey is good!

I've just stumbled onto R-L so I'm going to have a browse around there too, heh heh! Member Added Image

Yea, it does need something more. I like the cleaner look, comes off as more professional, but it can use more contrasting here and there.

Yea, it's been up for a few years. Used to be mmtbb.org or something. There are quite a few photographs I'd like to add it it, but with all of the other projects I have going all the time, I find it hard to keep on top of that.

In the R-L site (I know this isn't MMTBB, but still) the left margin you have pushes some of your text off the monitor so I have to scroll. Its not bad, I'm just saying.

Also, the page where you tested the different browsers, I clicked on the link that says "Check Your Browser" and all of the images are broken.

In MMTBB, I like the applications page. The bottom gray area, with License, Contact Us, etc. , I think could have a better layout though

I know what you mean about the cleaner look being more professional looking. I just felt it needed something to take the edge off, as the big box looked a bit too plain, if you get what I mean. (Not trying to say it looks shit, just trying to help with constructive criticism!)

I took it into photoshop and really pushed the limit with my imagination (NOT! lol) The differences are subtle but I think they take the edge off. (Speaking of which, I was thinking of rounding the bottom right edge like you did with the top left (without the logo on the bottom though) but am too lazy to do it, lol. Think it might look good though.

Sorry if the image quality sucks. Having a 42" monitor when I'm making pictures I try and scale screenshots either by zooming out in firefox or in photoshop to make it fit the viewers screen. Still very much not got the hang of it though, lol.

I meant to say before, I like that too. Which makes me think now actually, maybe it's just the fact that the home page box is so big and empty, and not broken up like on the applications page that makes me think it doesn't look right.

I just thought it would look better than the grey, but keeping the grey border to break it up from the black background. I'm just being pernickety, lol. I think I just have something against grey.

(I had to re-create the text in photoshop because just colouring around the text made it blurry and messy looking. That's why the lines don't quite line up and the purple colour is actually a bit lighter.)

I've just noticed the writing on the black in the background, though I had to zoom in a lot for it to show up as anything other than grey dots and lines.

No, it's not that. All it shows up as on my screen as is grey lines and dots, like morse code or braille or something. I guess it's something to do with my 42" plasma TV monitor and non-standard resolution.

I suppose to everyone else for whom it displays correctly, it looks good. And as you say BA it breaks up the void of emtiness and gives it that little something more that I thought was missing.
