On Wednesday I received the envelope and proceeded to cross out my delivery address and write 'Not at this address, return to sender.' Yesterday, Friday I received my returned envelope. I wonder what would happen if I addressed an envelope to a nonexistent house with another invalid return address on the back. Would it be sent back and forth between a few post offices before being securely stored in the dead letter department for all eternity? |

When I was younger I wanted to try sending letters across town without postage. I was going to put my address as the 'to' and my friends address as the return. Never got around to trying it though. |
