After many weeks thinking about, I finally began a program to design Origamic Architecture with a flat template view for manipulating cuts and a 3D viewport for seeing the final result. After getting the program to a reasonably usable stage I went looking for more examples. Along the way I discovered Ingrid Siliakus and became a little disheartened because I know this is a level of professionalism I will never attain. Sometime later, after returning to the search for 'reasonable' difficulty level examples, I found a link to a program which allows for design of Origamic Architecture by Tama Software which is slightly better than I could produce without much time and effort. Now I've lost my motivation and am slightly depressed with a touch of disinterest. |
