A new comer, Christian Morecraft, pounded the shit out of Stefan Struve; aka The Skyscraper (6'11") Even though Stefan had a lip the size of my left leg, from all the blows to the head from punches, hammer blows and elbows, he came back to TKO Christian with an amazing volley of punches. I thought it worth mentioning for the couple of other MMA fans here. Oh, and UFC 119 has Cro Cop again - saw him in a bout a month or so ago fir the first time in ages. Damn he's looking old for a 35yo. Shows what this sport can do to you. And he's not as ripped as before. Infact, he looked like he should consider either retiring or giving up beer. |

m0rt Member 't(-_-t)' Level 6 Posts: 286 Submissions: 20 | great fight, kept me in suspense. at this point in my mma fandom, I don't watch enough to have favorite fighters or know enough to root for one person going into a fight. but that whole line up was fight for fight the best i have watched. anyone have a good solid night like that they can suggest to watch? also: just watched 118. loled at the boxer. first fight was grody with the eye all sliced up but really it was the most entertaining of the night for me. some nice technique and skilled dudes but I'm a sucker for crazy brawlers. edit: alright i'm still watching the edgar v penn fight. it is picking up to a nice pace in the 4th! |

LINK If you're bored, these are some of my favorite fighters: Alistair Overeem- the "new breed" 250+ lbs, K1 level striking and ADCC level grappling Fedor Emelianenko- Greatest of all time. Was undefeated in 30+ fights for over 10 years up until a few months ago. Dude trains somewhere out in the forest in Russia on some fucking playground, yet is one of the best fighters ever Wanderlei Silva- my favorite fighter and probably the most loved fighter by fans because he destroys people in the ring and is the nicest guy outside of it. He knocked out Rampage twice in Pride FC. One of those times he landed something like 17 consecutive knees to the face of Rampage.  |
