I've had other shit to take care of, and getting retarded messages all the time annoys me. Ask Audrey, I talked to her for a long time, and I tried hinting to let up, and it failed, so I snapped. Consider this a hint. If you want to have a discussion, then have a discussion, but I have always ignored people who message me "sup" because I figure: You established contact with me, you should lead the conversation. Sorry if you feel penalized that I have been rather busy, and stressed out, but even the new girl is getting irritated with me. Perhaps I'm not made to be a little social butterfly, maybe I am. The fact is, a friend of mine died over the weekend, my job has been pissing me off daily, I've spent 20 hours last week in traffic alone for work, I found out that rumors about my ex-girlfriend were true, I've been operating a bit lean because of getting a tooth pulled, getting a phone, paying a ticket, getting a car, and taking care of existing loans. Sorry if I don't have time to debate with you on how a Scion is a cool car, or if it's a piece of shit, or that I didn't spend years building a site for you to try and publicly embarrass me. If I cared what "people" thought, maybe I'd have been a different person on RE, and a different person to people off the internet. The fact is, I hate stupid people, and if you're going to emulate them, we aren't going to get along. You're not stupid, so don't act it. |

My boss is taking what she wanted to build, and giving me three days to make major revisions to it, I don't have the time, and I don't spend my time out of work worrying about it. But when I'm there, I don't deal with additional shit well. You do that too on occasion, and I've snapped on quite a few people today because of all of this shit. It's not personal, I just have absolutely no "filter" on what I say or do. I tend to fuck up relationships before they form, and I've always done that. I hate that's how I am, and I hate that I'm at the maturity level now where I really do hate waking up. There's somebody who I've been talking to, whose been moving me away from being such a crabass, trying to get me to quit smoking, etc, but when you get the "we should just be friends" text, you smoke more, and you snap on people more. While I'm happy I ironed out that kink today, and things are better, I still have other shit that just builds up non stop, and it's really taking a toll. I'm not going for "whoaisme" or whatever, but I also don't want people to think that my only concern in life is being better than weasel on the internet, which a good share of people seem to think. Weasel never posted about changes to his site, whereas I'm posting personal shit, but at least I'm not saying I broke my hand and am not coding. Some of the best code on this site was written with my hand in a cast after I got in an accident. As for DLB, I can't vouch for him, but I keep him an admin because he's a lot more level headed than me, and most times I avoid "admin-like" duties because (as you seen), I go directly for the nuts. I appreciate the condolences, and the fact that you acknowledge that you should have considered some of this, the fact is I have problems managing my emotions, and if I'm pissed, I tend to spread it out quite a bit. It's something I'm working on, but I'm shitty at making personal improvements. |
