Just started screwing around with it today. Yeah, it's pineapple, one of the main reasons I got this one, the other being that it was the best priced from the Kala brand.

I feel like I'll be alright once I get used to these tiny frets, it's a soprano so it's pretty small.

Yeah. I mess around on my friend's uke every once in a while. Transitioning from being a guitar player, to something that small takes a bit of getting used to.

I bought one two weeks ago at a garage sale for $5. The standard tuning for it is very weird compared to a guitar. I'm hoping you'll post videos.

I learned how to play "muffin man" on mine because that's what I found on youtube but there will be no videos forthcoming. I have, however, received a petition from the neighbors to please stop singing/playing outside. I really thought they would be happy they no longer had to listen to my sole repertoire of "little bunny foo foo".

I've actually always found guitar tuning really weird, I can't see any logical sequence in EADGBE, uke is just tuned to a GCEA, which makes sense to me because it makes playing either C or Am really easy, albeit the high G string is in a weird position in the sequence.

Maybe eventually I'll do a video or something, but I picked up accordion fairly quickly, I feel like I have an easier time with keys than strings, so this one will probably take a little longer.

Its fourths. A is the fourth of E, D the fourth of A, G the fourth of D, etc. The only thing off is B, which the the third of G. Why that is done, I have no idea.

Yeah, that's what I meant though. If it were EADGCF it would at least have a logical pattern.

Other than my terribly out of tune piano (I do screw around on it a little despite that, though), they're actually all in that picture (the accordion is in the case). I don't really play the guitar in the background, I'm pretty terrible at it. I might take a picture of the piano tomorrow to show you guys.

Also, mostly online. I got the uke from Amazon, the washboard from eBay, and the accordion from some site called Jack's Music Store.

It's an ongoing on/off project, I pretty much only work on it when a piece happens to fall into my hands.

I own a Ukulele, a 4/4 violin, a Tin Whistle (Waltons) a very nice set of harmonicas, and a few other instruments that aren't worth mentioning. Guess how many I can play?

I feel like you wouldn't be asking if the answer wasn't either "all" or "none".

I agree, but I'm sure it's none.

Graboid, if you ever want to give away that violin for free and ship it to me without charging, let me know. I'll take it.

Lol, its "None", and the Violin was a gift from my girlfriend, so, sorry.
I can play 1 string very well on any stringed instrument. I can play the tin whistle a wee bit, and on the Violin I have figured out the 5ths.
My grandfather can play the hell out of the harmonicas, so I gave them to him.

From what I've heard, the tin whistle is the easiest instrument to start but the hardest to master. I saw an instructional book for it at the Salvation Army once, if it were likely to still be there (it's been like 6 months) I'd get it and send it to you.
