What these people aren't taking into account is; 1) The person was mentally unstable in the first place to have committed such a crime. 2) You shouldn't lock a gun with ammunition in the same box. Lock the gun away, and the ammunition away separately. 3) Insanity, as BaboonsBetterHalf pointed out, is a plea that kids use and get away with these days. I honestly don't care how much stress the kid was under. Everyone goes through stress, some more than others. It's just a fact of life. Killing his parents has nothing to do with stress (IMHO). |

I think pleading insanity is way too overdone, it is just more of an excuse now than a genuine reason, and the ammount of people that manage to use that to get away with things when they aren't actually "insane" is a joke.
