| Kennected Removed Account | Amen igloo....you're so right ( in my opinion..) There does seem to be some sort of measurable neglect;or urgency in which dire health matters are dealt with by citizens of that region. It's almost as if many of them are 'ashamed' to have to go to a doctor. I am not sure if it's just that many(or most) of them have no insurance or medical coverages at all, or if there is some sort of stigma attached to the very thought that someone in their family needs to go see a doctor. I've known people from there, and many of them do not like admitting that they need that sort of help, not sure why it is, but it does seem to exist at some level. Maybe their pride makes it difficult to actually break down and admit,that they need to take a sick family member somewhere else for help. I don't know what it is, but with all this generous germ-spreading going on around right now, it sure is sad. I don't care where they come from or live.. children should never suffer for the ignorance of their so-called ' responsible adults' in their lives. [.. ..falls off soapbox. ...] |

Swine flu is so deadly because like the bird flu ad the old Spanish flu in 1918, it doesn't kill those with weak immune systems but those with strong ones. The immune system overreacts and effectively commits suicide. People with swine flu actually die of scurvy, a disorder associated with a lack of vitamin C which is used up by the body in combating infections such as the flu. That is why it will have a maximum death toll in the age group from 20-40 years old. |

People that came here from Mexico (both legal and illegal)have not had the immunizations that us Americans have had since childhood. Hopefully it will kill off the illegals in this country. I know that's harsh, but if they are using someone elses SS# to get work in this country, then fuck em. |
