Yeah, I missed my 1,000th post too.  But on a brighter note, it's my birthday! 21 today, hooray!  I got the camera I talked about in a previous thread, which is pretty kickass!  (I know the 1 of 21 is backwards, lol) And my sister, who has been living out in Australia for the past 6 months sent me: A Handmade and hand painted boomerang:  A sharks tooth pendant:  (sorry about the shadow but I couldn't be bothered doing it again, lol) A hat, which she says even though she knows I'll never wear it, is a good australian momento and a momento of my 21st birthday that I can keep:  (It says "21" on the left and "COOPZ AUS" on the right" And £5.50 in British money:  It's 6am, not been to sleep yet, so I better go soon. I don't want to sleep away the whole day! I just have to say, this camera is immense. Check this out. You are about to experience a sneak peak of my lair to demonstrate the awesome power of the zoom on this thing. My point of view from sitting here on my bed:  See the "have a day" poster? This next picture was taken from the exact same position with full zoom. Hend held too, no tripod, and my hands ain't the steadiest!  I'm going to have fun with this thing! Lastly, I'd like to draw your attention to the site logo at the top of the page. Thanks to Opus for making it for me, myself for adding the party hats, and Toasty for putting it up there!  |

 RAAAAAAAAGE! One of my friends woke me up by calling me this morning at abput 8:50am. He asked me casually where I was. I replied grogilly, through the folds of my bedcovers, that I was still in bed, it being my birthday and me having taken the day off so that I could have a long lie, and especially considering I had only gone to sleep about an hour and a half before. I asked him why he was asking, to which he replied that the paint supplier was here with my paint (my friend works at a garage and ordered me in paint for my car at cost). So I said "I thought you told me before (no less than 5 times!!) that you didn't need the cash up front?" And he said "Well, yeah, we thought he would give us notice that he was coming, but he just showed up with the paint." So I said "...So what you're trying to say is that I need to get up and get dressed, and come down right now to give him the money?" "uhh... yeah..." -"How much do I need to bring?" -"It's like 99-100 quid (pounds)." -"God, it goes up in price each time you say it!" (It was £50 when he first said, then £80, now £100!) So, after pretty much no fucking sleep, I had to get up mega early, on my birthday, chuck on yesterdays clothes from the floor and sleep-walk my way out the door and go and give double what I'd been quoted for paint that had taken like 2 months to arrive! Needless to say, I'm not a happy fucking bunny. |

Thanks for all he birthday wishes guys! ^_^ I've had another 3.5 hours sleep so am feeling a lot better now, lol. Rage is forgotten. Gppd siggestion though Haroman, but that's me only just recovered from saturday so I'm taking it easy today, haha. DLB, that sucks that most of your family forgot. Woops Spook, you just sneaked in there before me! Zee paint is 8M6 Lagoon Blue (Also known as Spectra Blue Mica). It's so I can get my bodykit for the car painted (I know when you hear "bodykit", it brings ro mind boy racers in 1.1 Puntos and Corsas, slammed to the ground with 19 inch rims and over-the-top loud exhausts, and massive bodykits that just look totally out of place, but the bodykit/car combination I have is very tastefull!) |
