Lol it didn't bother me, at first i didn't even think the submission i got the message about was mine, then i realized i bought it at auction. Better to lose a submission, than a whole forum. |

As 1337 has pointed out: I have deleted in excess of 200 images from the directory today. I have went through these manually over the past five hours, removing duplicates, ones with logos, and poor quality ones. You may be happy to know that the horribly big ones (except the recent chart ones) all have been resized manually as well. If anybody thinks this was a personal attack, well it was the opposite. This is to prevent a legal personal attack on myself. I bought that from the auction! The point of the auction was to filter submissions that shouldn't be on the site, and to add a competitive reason to spend points. AS A RESULT: The submission requirement globally for the site has been halfed, but the point requirement doubled. This will help form the points into more of a currency, and remove a high requirement from the site. The submission requirement was to prevent high levels from occurring without using the site evenly. Unfortunately, it didn't work that way, and many poor submissions were added. To prevent getting submissions deleted: - There must be no site markings (logos, etc) on the image. - It must be 640 wide, and 1024 high at maximum. - Should be in PNG or JPEG wherever possible (GIFs look really bad). - Should have a reason to be posted. - Should not be distorted, way too small, way too big, etc. Thanks for your understanding. |

The upgrade system looks dandy in this case. Also, the rest of the site is coming along more than i imagined. I finally made use of the notification thing today it's pretty damn handy. |

lol, I was wondering why I came on to discover 8 messages waiting for me! Only 3 were about my image submissions being removed mind you. I remember cloning out logos last year as I didn't want my submissions to look messy with multiple watermarks. I guess I just missed a few! Fair play mate. I must go check out the new upgrade requirements! |

You guys have all done good requesting deletion since that feature was implemented, and several of the mods have also done good cleaning stuff up. I went through every image, and it was exhausting, but it had to be done. I could not possibly go through all the videos though -- so keep on being vigilant and reporting poor quality ones. I also failed to mention that the videos will now monitor themselves, and prevent double posting (while a few may be in the directory now, I'll have to look later on). If the video you're trying to post is a double, it will give you a link to the original poster's video. |
