It occurs to me that we have a topic on atari jaguar/video game systems we dont have any on just games, and we've been talking about games in the other one, so I'm making this one strictly for games. Whether it be pen/paper, board, card, console, computer, any kind discuss it here.

What was the first game you remember playing, whats your favorite, what game do you hate the most.

For me the first game i actually remember playing, and certainly one of my favorites is the atari game Adventure, I can actually say i found the first easter egg ever in video games lol. My all time favorite, and im certain DH may agree, is Starcraft, we and a friend of ours went from 3 players taking on one computer (which lasted forever) to 1 player taking on 3 or more. I'm not really certain on the one i hate the most but if i had to pick it would be the Barney game for the Sega Genesis.

I think the first game i remember playing was the original Mario on NES (I'm only 18).

My favorite game? I don't really have one, I don't play a whole lot anymore. I like COD4, but I don't own it. I can tell you my favorite arcade game though, Sunset Riders or Metal Slug. hose were the best ever.

The game I hate most is: WoW. Not because I've ever played it, but because people get too into it, and get all "Alliance is better!" "No Horde is better, alliance is full of 14 year old fags!" (the guy who says that is only 15).

The first game was when I was about four or something and it was Sonic the hedgehog on a sega machine of some type.

*Sigh* I remember those days...

I can't say I recall the first game, but my first favorite was Excitebike on the NES.

Also: Online Playable version (Controls listed below the screen)

I am a fan of Warlords, Super Breakout, Pitfall, and Frogger (all 2600). Probably the best of the older games was Zelda: A link to the past on SNES.

I wish whoever made that game would make a follow up one (the N64 one sucks dick -- too cartoonish, and I hate the 3D shit).

Another great series is the Grand Theft Auto series (even though there's a ton about 4 I hate -- especially the camera angles, shitty vehicle control, expensive running requirements, and the fact that XBox 360 controllers are fucking garbage).

Mario (the original) and Duck Hunt are pretty fun (NES with light gun). I made many DOS games, if I ever find them I'll post them for you guys to devour...I loved making DOS games, but started a little late.

Let me add to this thread (hopefully with the support of Mendric).

Post a picture of your video game collection. I plan on doing so probably Monday.

Holy shit, I'll have to put everything where it should be, and take some pics. That is an awesome idea.

When I get some up, it'll be in a few different pictures, as I rarely have all of my shit consolidated (ask DLB how long it took for me to get the sticker out to him).

My shit is spread all over the fucking place. It's like guns being spread out throughout a paranoid gun nuts house, except I'm not a gun nut, although I do have swords spread all throughout the house.
Mine will have to be several pics as well, as I have shit hooked up in every room that has a TV.

Games before 3D were the shit. I totally forgot to mention PC games.

Age of Empires I, II. Warcraft I, II (3 is gay), Starcraft, Diablo, Doom (I and II -- not 3), Wolfenstein 3D, Keen, Biomenace, will list more as I remember.

Looking back, I'm a big PC gamerMember Added Image

Whenever you have time is fine, you know the bumping rule is pretty lax.

I'll definitely try to remember to post some.

The Age of Empire games are cool, as are the Age of Mythology series.
Duke Nukem was also a good game.

I bought the Civilization game (4 maybe?) and didn't care for the turn-based element, I have the first one (or one of the first) that were real-time-strategy, I loved that one.

Duke Nukem is awesome, good call. Sierra's Kings Quest was a fun game, Hugo's house of Horrors was pretty fun (albeit rare) series.

Speaking of adventure games, The Journey Project was also good.
IF the Civilization game is able to run on my slow ass system, I'll buy it off you.

I liked the old sierra adventure games and the ones that used that adventure system; kings quest, hugo (all of them except the 3d shooter), goldrush, space quest, all of them were fun games
