So, today I finally broke down and purchased a new car. I'm done with my search and I feel a little relieved. I ended up buying a 2007 Mazda 3 with 20k miles on it. Its a gray color, which is my favorite on cars. So until this car breaks down, I love it lol! I know DLB suggested I post pics when I was looking at the focus. I take some pics tomorrow and post them on here when I get a chance.Member Added Image

I was going to say "pics or it didn't happen" but you seem to have that covered. I'm looking forward to the pics.

Cool cool, glad you didn't buy brand new. I've made that mistake.

That's funny, because EVERYONE was telling me to buy brand new. But, cars lose SO much of their value when you drive it off the lot, it's ridiculous. So what would be the point? I was just looking for low milage, year wasn't of great importance to me, just something that runs well.

Also, I will post some pics later. Last night it was pitch black when I got home, and now it is too bright out. But, pics will come! I did take a few from my camera phone, but it is really sunny out.

One other thing, the car has tinted windows. I'm assuming I'll have to take that off or else I will get a ticket, right?

It depends on how dark they are.

If they're tinted from the drivers door back (i.e. not in front of the driver) then they're legal.

The only way to have legal tints in front of the driver is as follows:
- Medical condition requiring it (i.e. skin or eye condition)
- Factory tint.

Ok, well I can post pics as soon as someone tells me how to lol. I know you have to put something between the backslashes, I just don't remember what I have to put there. Or how.

Also, how do I know if the sizes of the files will be gigantic again or not?

How old is your car that you had to have fixed yesterday? I ALWAYS had to have my last car fixed. Well at least this year I did. Then again, it was 10 years old with nearly 100k miles on it, so that's bound to happen. Hopefully I won't have to fix the new one for awhile. One weird/cool thing about the car is it has that "manumatic" thing (I think that's what they were calling it). So it is automatic with that manual option. I don't even know how to do manual anyways though.

You should learn.

Upload the photos to an image host such as Photobucket or LINK. They will give you a code that says "Code for forums" or something to that effect. Copy that code, paste it into the reply box, and hit post reply. If they are huge, I'll resize them accordingly.

And as for the "manumatic" thing, my friend went with me for a ride in my car last night, and he was trying to show me how to use it.Member Added Image

DLB, they did turn out pretty big. I'm not sure how to resize them myself. I will have to learn how to do this someday LOL.

Edit: I forgot to say something about the car. It looks pretty nice. I like the dash board lights, and it looks very clean. Lets hope this lasts longer than your other car did.

Onto the pictures:
Well since you uploaded them to photobucket, its very easy to resize them.

Go to photobucket, log in and what not.

Click on the picture that you want to resize.

When it opens the new page with the picture and all the other information, hover the mouse over the picture.

Across the top of the picture you'll see "Zoom In Edit Resize Rotate" and more.

Since we want to resize, it makes sense to hover over the area that says resize. When you do that, a drop down list shows with various sizes that you can make it. I'd recommend either Medium (320 x 240) or Large (640 x 480).

Once you click the size you want, a little box will pop up. Click OK. You're done. Now just do that with all of your pictures and everything is good.

Side note: Once you do that, and you go to view your pictures on this page, it might look like nothing happened. This is easy to solve, just hold ctrl and hit f5. You should then see your pictures in their new size.

Interesting, thanks DLB. It's strange that one pic ended up smaller than the others, but that's ok. Also, the reason that I originally posted them separately is because I had no idea what I was doing. Sorry. I've never done any of this before.

So, I've had the car for less than a week now, and now the air conditioner makes a grinding noise! Fantastic. It is only with the a/c on, not the heat or defroster. It was fine yesterday morning too, me and my bro used it when we were driving. Whatever it is, I hope it is covered under warranty. That sure didn't take long!
