eliza17 Member Level 7 Posts: 227 Submissions: 10 ![]() | So, today I finally broke down and purchased a new car. I'm done with my search and I feel a little relieved. I ended up buying a 2007 Mazda 3 with 20k miles on it. Its a gray color, which is my favorite on cars. So until this car breaks down, I love it lol! I know DLB suggested I post pics when I was looking at the focus. I take some pics tomorrow and post them on here when I get a chance. ![]() |

eliza17 Member Level 7 Posts: 227 Submissions: 10 ![]() | That's funny, because EVERYONE was telling me to buy brand new. But, cars lose SO much of their value when you drive it off the lot, it's ridiculous. So what would be the point? I was just looking for low milage, year wasn't of great importance to me, just something that runs well. |

The only way to have legal tints in front of the driver is as follows: - Medical condition requiring it (i.e. skin or eye condition) - Factory tint. |

eliza17 Member Level 7 Posts: 227 Submissions: 10 ![]() | How old is your car that you had to have fixed yesterday? I ALWAYS had to have my last car fixed. Well at least this year I did. Then again, it was 10 years old with nearly 100k miles on it, so that's bound to happen. Hopefully I won't have to fix the new one for awhile. One weird/cool thing about the car is it has that "manumatic" thing (I think that's what they were calling it). So it is automatic with that manual option. I don't even know how to do manual anyways though. |

Quote: Someone please help me LOLUpload the photos to an image host such as Photobucket or LINK. They will give you a code that says "Code for forums" or something to that effect. Copy that code, paste it into the reply box, and hit post reply. If they are huge, I'll resize them accordingly. |

I'm not sure how to resize them myself. I will have to learn how to do this someday LOL. |

DeadLazyBum Site Admin '♥' Level 33 Posts: 2,962 Submissions: 137 ![]() | Edit: I forgot to say something about the car. It looks pretty nice. I like the dash board lights, and it looks very clean. Lets hope this lasts longer than your other car did. Onto the pictures: Well since you uploaded them to photobucket, its very easy to resize them. Go to photobucket, log in and what not. Click on the picture that you want to resize. When it opens the new page with the picture and all the other information, hover the mouse over the picture. Across the top of the picture you'll see "Zoom In Edit Resize Rotate" and more. Since we want to resize, it makes sense to hover over the area that says resize. When you do that, a drop down list shows with various sizes that you can make it. I'd recommend either Medium (320 x 240) or Large (640 x 480). Once you click the size you want, a little box will pop up. Click OK. You're done. Now just do that with all of your pictures and everything is good. Side note: Once you do that, and you go to view your pictures on this page, it might look like nothing happened. This is easy to solve, just hold ctrl and hit f5. You should then see your pictures in their new size. |

eliza17 Member Level 7 Posts: 227 Submissions: 10 ![]() | Interesting, thanks DLB. It's strange that one pic ended up smaller than the others, but that's ok. Also, the reason that I originally posted them separately is because I had no idea what I was doing. Sorry. I've never done any of this before. |

eliza17 Member Level 7 Posts: 227 Submissions: 10 ![]() | So, I've had the car for less than a week now, and now the air conditioner makes a grinding noise! Fantastic. It is only with the a/c on, not the heat or defroster. It was fine yesterday morning too, me and my bro used it when we were driving. Whatever it is, I hope it is covered under warranty. That sure didn't take long! |
