List your auto insurance, whether you had accidents (your fault or others) and how they handled it...Also list cars and rates (ticket count, etc).

I'm planning on switching.

American Family Insurance
$45.00 for 2002 Grand Prix, 26 tickets, 1 driving arrest, 5 accidents.

Mind you, a good share of the tickets were dropped or non-moving violations (no seatbelt, etc), and accidents weren't my fault.

I currently have Allstate.
The only accident that I was in with one of my own vehicles, was January 19th, 1999. I flipped over my car (paid $1000 for it), had no tickets issued (black ice, one car accident), insurance paid me $1750 for the car after they took $500 out for the deductible.

Now I pay $2000 a year, which may seem high, but it really isn't bad considering the following;

1987 MR2: Liability, costs $305 every 6 months (sports car)
1996 Intrepid: Full coverage, about $368 every 6 months
2002 Malibu: Full coverage, no idea what the cost every 6 months is
Homeowners Insurance: Coverage for a 2 level, 2600 sq ft house, market value of about $200,000 (less than I paid for it, thanks to the housing market)

I haven't had a speeding ticket in 4 years, and have the multiple car discount as well as the discount for having home and auto through them.

Sounds pretty good. My folks have a grudge against Allstate, but with the support I get from amfam, I think it may be better off switching.

I know many people don't like Allstate, but I've never had a problem with them. At one time, I was actually being trained by an Allstate agent in Frankfort to become an agent myself.

I've got AAA. I pay 100 a month for nine months out of the year. I've had one accident, and it was my fault.

I have First Acceptance Insurance, and I pay $70/mo for minimal coverage but its a damn good policy and includes AAA. No tickets and only 1 accident, which was my fender bender over the summer.

I tried getting with Allstate one time, but I didn't have insurance at the time so they denied me coverage and I told them to go fuck themselves. Never try Geico either, they dry-fucked me in the ass.
