I'm looking to add more smiles to YouN00b, however I never do find good luck finding decent sets. Usually, I run into problems with the face that the outline doesn't blend good with the colors of the site, other times I find that most of the static images are GIF (which are poor quality, PNG being better). The first person to find a nice smily set will get points added to their account. |

I wasn't trying to be a dick, I'm just not the type to pad things either. I very well could have said: "Well, gee guys, I really was looking for a link to a smiley set. The links you both sent were really nice and pretty, but I can't use them." But what I said was simple, direct, and to the point. Since I'm very well aware that this topic won't yield a smiley set, I'm not particularly concerned with this topic. I only accidentally opened it up. Perhaps your angst resulting from something else made you interpret what I said as something it wasn't. It was simply an efficient way of saying "not good enough." I seen that there are sets, but the thing is: I can find myself sets all day long. I wanted people to suggest one set for the site, one that meets the qualifications I put above. Think of it this way, if I allowed that link to be in this "contest", then somebody could easily beat you by posting a link to a Google Image search for "Smiles." Just food for thought. |
