Once the third one came out, I realized it became less about strategy, and more about "wow, these graphics are kewl." I also loved StarCraft and Diablo series, however WOW looks like a clusterfuck of all three, with an option to spend money on the game. I am not made of money, and for a game whose roots appear to be on strategy, I'm a bit ashamed of Blizzard for releasing a game based on how much money the player's parents (or grandparents) have. Hopefully they can reconsider the format of the game, and allow people to play for free -- or even better, they can improve the game's AI so you don't have to depend on other people to play the game to make it fun. I remember in Warcraft II, I used to go around and beat the shit out of the other town's buildings, attack units, and leave them with one peon/peasant. I always would leave them alone until they rebuilt their force and can attack again, problem being the fact that instead the game's AI would "loop-lock", and the peasent would just keep chopping wood/gold. They do this instead of building a new town hall. When Starcraft came out, I made a map that would automatically rebuild a few key assets of the town when it was demolished (by me), meaning the town hall (I forget all the terms), a few pylons/supply bunkers/overlords, a few gathering units, and it would add some cash to their stockpile. Although this worked, it was sort of pointless pretty quickly. |

Once you die, you have to find your body and shit... You dont just respawn like most games...
