Even when stabilized, it is incredibly sensitive and should never be made in large quantities because it has a tendency to detonate under it's own weight. That said, let's begin: You will need: Nitric Acid (70% is good) Ethyl Alcohol Water Silver 100 ml Beaker 500 ml Beaker Graduated Cylinder Thermometer (glass, for lab use, not oral, you idiots) Salt-ice bath (get a big bowl, fill it with ice and saltwater.)
